My standards for translation services

Responsible approach and accuracy of translation. I will only accept assignments when I am certain of my ability to provide an accurate translation. My professional technical experience and education (including 10 years in development engineering) help me to understand your technical documents.
Effective Russian style. Your translated technical document will read easily, without awkward phrasing to distract from the content. Extensive experience in creative literary translation has sharpened my ability to present your document in an appropriate style. My translation experience includes 56 American and English bestsellers published by major Russian publishers.
Correct and consistent use of terminology. Before any technical translation I study the terminology of the specific field, and create a comprehensive terminology database. I will, of course, pay particular attention to use of any terms you identify that have specialized use.
To ensure the highest quality, my technical translations are reviewed by Russian experts before delivery to you. I have developed a network of experts in a wide range of fields, used in project-specific teams as necessary.

I am able to deliver a better translation into Russian than a Russian translator living abroad. Living abroad, you can't keep up with your dynamically changing native language. Moreover, each day you actually lose some of your linguistic skills. Another point - living in Moscow, I can easily contact any Russia-based specialist or terminologist. To determine precise terminology and ensure an accurate translation, reference materials cannot replace such "live" consultations.

My rates: flexible, project-specific, from Euro 0.06 to Euro 0.1 per s/w.
